Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our growth initiatives and drive revenue expansion across markets. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with organizational objectives and market trends.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage high-performing sales and marketing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Drive outside sales initiatives by establishing strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to expand market share.
  • Oversee business development efforts to identify new opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals in B2B environments.
  • Implement data-driven analysis skills to evaluate market performance, customer insights, and competitive landscape for continuous improvement.
  • Manage account relationships through effective account management practices to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns across digital platforms, events, and direct outreach to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout all client interactions to foster loyalty and trust.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, technical sales specialists, and customer support to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Experience

  • Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles within technology or B2B sales environments.
  • Extensive experience managing outside sales teams with a focus on business development and account growth.
  • Strong background in marketing strategy development combined with hands-on execution skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leading management teams through change initiatives while achieving measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of technical sales processes, including solution selling and negotiation tactics.
  • Excellent analysis skills to interpret market data, forecast trends, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities complemented by outstanding communication skills focused on motivating teams and building client relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical commercial roles (sales, marketing, or combined commercial leadership).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience (people leadership and/or leading cross-functional commercial initiatives).
  • Demonstrated success delivering revenue growth and meeting/exceeding targets in a regulated environment.
  • Strong command of commercial analytics: forecasting, pipeline management, CRM adoption, and KPI-driven execution.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence—able to influence internally and externally with credibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%–50% as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience launching a pharmaceutical product or leading a major brand/territory expansion.
  • Experience in specialty pharma, rare disease, biologics, or high-science value-based selling environments.
  • Hands-on experience with omnichannel marketing, digital performance marketing, and marketing operations.
  • Familiarity with payer, access, and reimbursement dynamics (if relevant to your products).
  • Experience working with distributors, GPOs, and/or strategic channel partners.

Compensation & Benefits

Good-faith base salary range: $120,000–$200,000 (USD). The expected hiring range for most candidates is $140,000–$160,000, depending on qualifications and relevant experience. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan (bonus and/or commission). Benefits may include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other company-sponsored programs (details will be provided during the hiring process).

Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
